In a room there are 42 pillars. As with the installation 54 x Acryl auf Tubolit [54 x Acrylic on Tubolit] the colours of the individual poles are chosen so that they correspond to the colour values of the gaps and those of the other pillars. In this way, the space within the actual poles becomes a colour medium at the same time as it is visually neutralised. In addition, the foreshortened perspective is optically eliminated by increasing the diameter of the pillars in proportion to the distance from the viewer.
